Back in the traditional ML game!
Horse traded into a Cabela's "Blue Ridge" (Pedersoli Frontier) .32 cap lock. Great shape, clean. Needs a new front sight (this one is too loose), and I need some accoutrements.
Any suggestions/experience?
Also, any leads on Pedersoli barrels? I'd like to pick up a .45, .50, or .54 (13/16" flats).

Front sight too loose? Is it in a dovetail? If so, you can take a punch and stiple the barrel in the dovetail which raises the surface to tighten it. If that doesn't work, carefully peen the edges of the dovetail down for a tighter fit. I don't remember if the European (metric) dovetail is smaller or larger than 3/8"; if it is larger then the problem may be that someone swapped out the original front sight. If it is smaller (someone else help out here, please!) then a sight with a 3/8" dovetail will need to be filed down to fit. Either way, it sounds like a fun project!

Welcome back! It sounds as if you got a good deal and you're happy about it which is always a good. Post a picture of it when a chance.

If it is loose in the dovetail you can smash a piece of copper, brass, or even lead, edge it to the dovetail's base & V "<____>" then tap the sight
in place. If the blade is loose it's nothing a little silver solder won't cure, or if need be order a new sight from Track of the Wolf.

The front sight is slightly undersized now. 3/8" should fit well. I'm ordering a new one, brass instead of steel, to replace it.
Any ideas on where to find Pedersoli barrels to fit? A .45 or .50 would be very nice.

Parts for Pedersoli muzzleloaders are VERY EXPENSIVE, but you can find some here.

If a sight is loose in the dove tail I take a small punch and tap it with a hammer on the bottom of the sight base. This throws up little craters with rims that tightens it up in the dove tail.

Yep.....
Actually, I insert a BCS under the sight, sliding it in as I drift the sight into the dovetail slot.
( BCS = Beer Can Shim
