Does anybody have any good ideas about what to do with old magazines? I hate to just toss them in the recycling bin. I tried to see about donating them to the military for soldiers overseas, but never got any answers.

Old age homes, hospitals

Good ideas. Thanks!

They are surely almost more trouble to dispense with than they are worth.
I recollect in my younger days, I had subscribed to Playboy for years. I was getting ready to move one time and had years and years worth of them. Went down the the adult video store to see if they would be interested in buying them. The guy took me into the back of the store and showed me boxes and boxes of them, then said he really didn't need or want them. He did offer to toss them in his dumpster for me. I took him up on his offer.
I did have pretty good luck selling a bunch of Muzzleloader and Muzzleblast on another web site, though.

I wasn't looking to sell them, and I don't want to mail them anywhere as the cost would be prohibitive.

Take them to a Veterans Home facility if you have one near you. You could also recycle them as a last resort.

Excellent idea, Keb. Thanks!

These are old Fur, Fish, Game and Fly Fisherman magazines, Some of the FFG mags have some muzzleloader content. Sorry for the confusion. I believe I will see if the veterans home has a use for them. If not, off to the recycling bin. Thanks everyone who offered suggestions.
