Looking for some hooks/hangers to show off my rifle guns in my home office. The ToW "antique brass" hangers are not very attractive for the price at $20/pair. Any alternatives out there?

Not so sure if these are the same thing, but I have used the Tedd Cash hangers and they worked out OK. i don't recollect them being that expensive, but it was a while ago since I looked at these things. Look them up on the web and see how comparative they are.

muzzleloader magazine had an article on using old spoons as gun and accoutrement hooks. beat the spoon flat, drill a hole for screw attachment, bend up the handle and apply leather or felt for firearm protection. a spoon with a purty figured handle would look dandy. it sure sounds good! 8)

please pm or email me with what you find disagreeable about the TMA forum software functionality, i'm sure i can help you as i've helped others.
i looked at yer profile and you don't have some of the pm options set, namely saving a sent copy, so you would never know that you sent rick a pm note. if you go to yer 'profile', then under 'modify profile' you'll find a link for 'personal messaging' where you can set specific options.
