Title: Labor Day Weekend
Post by: Uncle Russ on September 02, 2017, 01:40:15 PM
Labor Day Weekend is a very popular time for traveling and getting that last little vacation in.
The small little "Podunk" town I live in is just loaded with "out of town folks" and they are all here for the Fishing and Water Sports.
I have been hearing the sirens of both Police and Ambulances since early Friday morning, in fact, I can hear them now as I type this, it's just not a good time for us locals to be out on the Lake...period.

I view of this, and the fact that many of our Members will be out this weekend, I would like to urge all of you to be safe and be careful.

For all the people of Texas and Louisiana, my heart and my prayers go out to you.
We have many Members in both of these States, and I pray for their safety, and for all the other hundreds of thousands still in harms way......
May God protect all of you.

Good words Russ, I share your thoughts for those suffering in the flooded areas and the safety of all others on this busy holiday.
