Title: White Mountain Carbine Rear Sight
Post by: Hood on October 10, 2017, 11:56:55 AM
Does anyone know if the T/C White Mountain Carbine rear sight is th same as a Hawken? I am looking for one to replace a missing one. Thanks

I pulled up a few pictures and it appears that it is the same sight. There are several variations on a standard T/C rear sight, the older ones have different screw hole positioning than the newer ones.

Thanks Eric,

I guess I could measure the distance between the holes and see if I can purchase the right one. I don't  see any listed for sale that say they fit the White Mountain Carbine.

Hood, for what's it worth............
Hole spacing when it comes to replacing, or changing out sights, on a T/C has been the only way to fly for years now.

To the best of my knowledge, there is nothing in print that can help you with this, especially since T/C is no more. Even back then, when they were up and running strong, the only way their Customer Service Dept. could help, even then, was by you giving them "center to center' hole spacing.
Make, Model, Caliber, and Serial number did nothing for you...but having that "hole spacing" handy could get them to at least talk to you.

Good luck on your pursuit!

Uncle Russ...
