All I can say is that I am ever so glad that my first experiences with black powder were much less traumatic.
I do kinda quiver a bit when I think back to a time when a friend was helping me fill a flask, or maybe I was helping him fill his flask. We were both standing there, calm as can be, one of us had a can of Fffg and the other had the flask, and powder is pouring into it, and we are both standing there smoking cigarettes. :Doh! Not quite the smartest thing we could have been doing. One more reason I know that God loves me. Thank you Lord.
And Hawken, you tell one heck of a good story.
Thanks,
John
