Thanks guys!

I have to show you fellas something.
A little something I received from my TMA brother Roaddog.
It's a nice wood carving of a Mountain Man......Don will have to tell you the kind of wood and where that wood is found.
I thought it was just really neat, so I took a picture of it and doctored the picture up just a bit.

Then I hung it on my little wall, over the mantel.  I think it fits just perfectly.
On the left is an artist perception of me with a downed Elk, on the right of the Mountain Man is a pencil / Charcoal painting of a Sioux Indian....its a very old picture!
Under my Perersoli flinter you can see another Mountain Man, a small figure carved by our own Hank WV, who's pretty doggone handy with a Barlow Pocket Knife...

Thanks again for the nice Birthday wishes.

Good to know someone is older than me, even if it is only 37 days. :bl th up
You're right Hawken.
It seems these birthdays really kick into high gear after about 60 or 65...I suspect we should be thankful to the Almighty that we're still around to enjoy these often rough days.

Happy Birthday Unc. Proud to share the day with you.

You betcha bud. This be our day, and I just had your Birthday drink for you...two fingers Maker Mark over 4 medium Ice cubes, in a Whiskey Sour Glass, I think yours may have been a wee bit better than mine, so I expect repeating the process is the only "right" thing to do, wouldn't ya say?
