the November Fur-Fish-Game magazine arrived today. Under "Other Articles" in the table of contents it had Traditional Flintlock Hunting on page 40. I had a suspicion of who the author might be and sure enough, when I turned to it he is our own Darren Haverstick!
Well done, young man. :hairy
I haven't read it yet, holding that pleasure for my bedtime reading. He is getting to be quite the author and I see articles by him every where I look, it seems like. It's great to see someone keeping traditional muzzleloading in the public eye, and not just in publications which cater to like-minded people. I hope he keeps it up!

I haven't seen the article, but I sure do like what I'm hearing.
I have really enjoyed the threads Darren writes here, so I can only imagine.

Thanks all, for the kind words and encouragement! I'm sitting in a tree with my longbow right now hoping to gather more story material. I live to tote around stickbows and flintlocks and I hope my writing inspires others to take them up.

Just keep on doing what you're doing right now, you do it quite well!
