Title: Lock tuning
Post by: rollingb on January 12, 2019, 06:44:10 PM
I just received one of my NorthStarWest trade gun locks back from having it professionally "tuned" by a fella with 45 years experience working on flint locks.
He did a fine job on my lock, reshaping, hardening, and stoning the parts. It's "smooth as cream" now, and I'm very happy. :)  :bl th up

Anyone wishing to have their flintlock professionally "tuned" for a reasonable price with QUICK "turn around" (no longer than 2 weeks,... I got mine back the same week I sent it), I highly recommend "Elk Killer" in Copan, Oklahoma for the job.

I just finished boxing up another lock so he can work his magic on it too.  :) :applaud

Please feel free to send me a PM,... if you would like Elk Killer's address.  :hairy
