Had a friend who was just getting into leather work so asked him to make me a shooting bag. Gave him a couple websites to look at for reference. Told him just something simple as it would be used during hunting as well as range. Guess some just don't get the simple idea too well. Not only the bag but a knife and sheath! Bag has 2 inside pockets, cow and deer leather, deer antler buttons, and antler tip flap strap holder. All hand embossed and sown.
Pics aren't best as had to crop the daylights out of them to fit sites limits. (On phone can't just resize yet)

I know the type. Did some trading with a fellow one time and I told him I wanted one of his horns. Like you, I told him something simple. I got this beautifully engrailed horn in the mail a couple of weeks later. I called him up and thanked him and said, "but what about that simple thing?" He replied, "John, I just don't do simple."
Nice bag.

HA! That's never gonna happen ;) If I build one from legos it would probably be better looking then if I tried wood ;)
