The Reason For Thanksgiving (IMO)

Thanks! :hairy :hairy:shake
I have always maintained that one day is totally insufficient for the thanks we should be giving. We need to practice a lot more "thanksliving." Just a thought, but I know it holds plenty true for this pilgrim.

Good words, Ray :shake
Back in 1974 I was given a small Bible (like all of us were when joining the Army) and to this day it's the one book I have never been without in my travels in life... I know I've never lived up to what it offers - but in it's own way it's given me comfort walking through life. It's setting in front of me right now. :shake
There's a lot to be thankful for in this world of ours, and there's a lot to test us from day to day.
I do hope everyone has a nice Thanksgiving Day. :shake

+ In 1960, my dog tags had my "religion" on them !!!
-
Puffer, mine had my religion as well in 1993.
-
As did mine... Blood type as well.
-
I have mine from 1962 in front of me:
Last name, initials of first & middle names
serial number, USN, blood type
Religious preference
And the notch so that it could be hammered between your teeth for identifying the remains if you were killed!
