My daughter-in-law (from Texas) is going to be very disappointed when I tell her Texans didn't invent hominy and grits, she thinks EVERYTHING originated in Texas.  :lol sign :laffing

Your Daughter is right!    :lol sign

I am making a big pot of "Posole" for the Holidays.
It's loaded with Hominy, Pork, Beef, and Hatch Green Chilies, it is a Texas favorite.

My Sweetie was born in Texas, all her family is there (except for her brother who now resides in Spain), and there is no way I could ever get her to go back there!
