Couldn't have said it any better myself.
Although I have really enjoyed trips to Australia, New Zealand and Italy, I don't foresee anyplace foreign in my immediate future.
As far as buying goods made in the USA, that's a given. I always prefer that to foreign made stuff.

I told the wife last night I'm soooooo ready to take her on a road trip somewhere and eat out every night and see more of the country.

I had another big road trip planned for this year but it doesn't look good at the moment.

My entire Spring & Summer 'Vous event calendar no longer exists...just another "would have been so much fun" thought...but like all of us, I am happy to do whatever necessary to help save lives and get our society functional once again.
I have always laughingly said I live in hope...but I realize now that it's true. We all live in hope of a far better and brighter day. And to help achieve that day we all have to do whatever is in our power to help make it happen. Staying at home and practicing social distancing are minor inconveniences given the scope of this tragedy.
My prayer is that all of us stay safe until we get to once again freely practice the joy of getting together and shootin' off our mouths as much as our smokepoles.

Understandable Ray, and a smart move IMHO. I cancelled my plans as well - even if they go forward with our annual Fur Trade Days Rendezvous in July,,, I'm simply not going to plan around "what if events" as our health (as well as others in camp) may have a direct impact on the dice roll (so to speak)... No point in taking chances. :shake
