Ooh, that doesn't look good! I guess you're all up and running again with help from Santa. But now we need to know what happened - a wayward driver mayhaps?

Big storm Christmas eve, lotta heavy wind 'n' rain, huge 67yo evergreen got blown down in the wrong direction around 3am on Christmas morning and took out the 'lectric pole during its descent. Knocked out the whole neighborhood when the tranny blew. Kudos to the town for their yeoman service, working from around 8am yesterday morning they got power back by 7pm. Amen to those good fellers and praise the Lord!

Town crew stumped the big evergreen, then righted it back up, ready for pickup along with all the cut wood and branches. Shame to see that tree go down, some many decades old history in it for my wife and mother-in-law.

DO YOU HAVE A WOOD BURNING STOVE OR FIREPLACE? I would snag onto that wood, even if it is a softwood. Free firewood beats no firewood!

It's already been hauled away and split. :shake
