It's a great place to live, that's for sure!
Rondo, I know you're familiar with this area, (as is Hank and Riley, and probably a few more here at the TMA). It don't get any better than this. Least ways for me. :shake

Joe, if you put the "postage stamp" target on that blue butte with the white vertical streak, you could shoot at it from where you took the photo. That would be a nice clear shot. Good luck! :laffing

I don't want to use up all my powder in one load... :laffing
I can't take credit for this picture, but whoever took it - they sure captured what I see quite often every week (and just about every day in the summer time). My wife and I are just waiting for the snow to go away and some warmer weather - then we'll be headed back into those buttes. :hairy

Certainly is a beautiful view. I've lived where I enjoyed both ocean views and mountain views, not the same place, and I prefer the mountains. Mine were of the Smoky variety, however.

It looks like off in the distance there is some haze / and that may very well be from a fire (or fires) somewhere else, and the smoke is being carried in... Anymore (sadly) - it seems there have been plenty of fires in the west.
