Details jim, details.
What is the ID and the OD on them?
About how long are they?
And the 4 bore rifle wants to know if you can do a 400 grain measure?

They're about 5" long, OD is 5/8" ID is 27/64th's drill bit, measured depth to a brass measure I have here, Maple is from a 4 foot diameter stump from a broad leaf Maple I dropped on the in-laws property 20 years ago, aqua fortis stain and some satin poly on top

400 grains? aren't pipe bombs illegal?

Thanks, the maple was quarter sawn from a broad leaf maple, 6' diameter stump 3 feet tall that was on our old property, slabbed up and left to cure for 12 years, the wood is not very good for stocks but great for this, powder horn base plugs, knife handles, etc.

This 80 grain measure isn't as pretty as yours Jim, but it serves the purpose. It was given to me as a plain old white deer tine. Used a couple of tea bags to change the color and using what intelligence I have changed the appearance a little bit. And thought the one inscription would remind me to do something .
