Title: My flinters so far..
Post by: RedOneFive on June 18, 2024, 01:59:15 PM
Here's my flinters I've aquired so far.. I've had a few others come and go..
L to R
Cva 50
J. Brown 54 SMR
.45 Penn
20 gauge trade gun..
Next one id like to add is a little soddy, or a  dainty thin little Tennessee with iron mounts in 40 or 36..
My SMR is nice, but still pretty thick and hungry in 54

Eye candy for sure. Does your wife clean your guns after you make them dirty ? Well I'm still working on that one at No Powders residence. If she comes home while I'm cleaning one, she says it stinks. Imagine that.

Danged if my wife doesn't say the same thing.

I really needed to hear that buddy. Thanks. Now I just have to figure out if I should tell her or not. Probably not.

I have NO (ZERO) complaints about the beauties in the photo you posted.  Reminds me a little of my own.

Believe it or not, but I actually still own two flinters.
One I just got a couple of years ago, a North Star West Trade Gun in 12 ga which I haven't even shot yet.
The other is a Tennessee rifle in .45 cal.  I bet it has been 20 years since I shot that one.  The wood on that one is pure eye candy, for sure.  Maybe next month I will take a couple of photos of it and post them.
