Last night Hurricane Beryl hit just to the east of us. Deanna and I are safe, and the generator's doin' its job. So far the only damage appears to be some small broken branches. No storm surge made it to us. The standing water, at this point, is no worse than what some severe thunderstorms would leave.
We're quite fortunate. God was watching over us.
