Title: Got my hands on a bow I've dreamed about for a long time.
Post by: RedOneFive on April 05, 2025, 02:49:10 PM
Got this through my friend Ron Mackenberg who is a helluva guy. He's thinning the herd and this bow is one I've dreamed about for a long time.. Long story short it was made by Ed Scott and him together in a round about way. Ed Scott was a great builder who passed away several years back.. we did some bartering for some of my forged goods and now it lives with me.

I don't know anything about bows. But wouldn't it be nice to shoot a long beard with it this spring?

It would, but I'm about as rusty as can be!.. I haven't been shooting enough to feel comfortable aiming at a living critter.. Plus I'm going to give it a good whirl to get one with the trade gun!

Joey, that is a very cool bow! Ron is a great guy and he and his wife, Regina, have done a lot for the United Bowhunters of Missouri over the years.

I hope to see you at the UBM Rendezvous in Marshall, MO the weekend of June 27th-29th.
