Dang. Hank's even takin a bath? That would be a sight to see. Or would that be a scent to sniff? Or not to sniff. I don't know. I just know that I am comitted to a HUGE family reunion on that weekend, and there would be a whole lot of upset Egener's comin lookin for me.

Hank, Al, Eric, and all you guys will just have to smash a few chairs in my honor. Tell every one I said hi and if I could be there, I surely would.

I'm going to try to make this one.  It's either go to Vincennes the weekend before or head up North, and while this is a much longer drive than Vincennes, I'd rather join y'all.  I'm still a maybe at this point as I need to see what's going on once I'm back in the States this weekend, but hopefully I'll make it.

I believe that I would love to attend, but I don't have the PC clothing to wear at such an event. There is nothing like this in my area of West Virginia and I would love to come and just watch all of the activities that go on.
Maybe by this time next year I will have some of the clothing required so that I can attend.

We don't get too caught up in the clothes end of it just the guns . This is a very informal event other than your weapons have to be traditional muzzleloaders. If you can make it out come on we have plenty of room and would love to have ya!!

Welp, I'm not going to be able to make it.  My cousin got some leave time from the Army and is taking a trip to South Carolina and said I could go with him for free, so I can't turn that deal down!  Enjoy the shoot, though.  I'll try my darndest for next year.

Well folks...the best thing I can say about this past weekend is A Good Time Was Had By All!!
For the most part, we had fine weather.  We had rain on Saturday afternoon and had a DELUGE Saturday night/Sunday morning, but nobody floated away that I know of.
We had all the shooting that we could keep up with and more food than we needed to eat.  Miss Mary and Eric made sure that we left weighing more than we did when we got there.
Ed didn't get much of a break...what with setting up all the shooting, keeping score and trying to take enough pictures to fill an album!
The tall tales and war stories never ended and no one made it out of there without being the butt of one joke or another.
I'd like to thank Nobber (Eric) for once again for putting on a great event for those of us who showed up.  If ya didn't make it...ya missed out!
A great big Thankee to Jingles (Ed) for all of the hard work he put into making this a fun weekend...even if he wouldn't take my last years Carrot Award and pass it on...
Of course, a big thank you to Miss Mary for feeding us on Friday and Saturday...and for making sure that there were enough noodles and beef on Saturday...else no one but Ed would have been able to eat.
Congratulations go to Buzzard (Jeff) for winning the aggregate...he put on a good showing.
If most of my parts are still working...I'll sure be there again next year!
Sorry I don't have any pictures to post...bu Ed should have a few... thousand to stick up here.
Thanks again to the folks who made this happen  :clap
Al

Well, the 3rd annual Old Northwest has come and gone and certainly lived up to expectations. Had a great time. Eric and clan know how to run a fun packed event. Mary fed us til we could hardly move. Ed ran a great shoot which new friend Jeff (Buzzard) decided to clean up on. Nice going Jeff. Was good to see Bob, Earl and Al again this year. Missed Chairslayer this year but hope scheduling will allow him to return next year. Nobody bellyached enough this year to wrest the "Whine Award" away from Al, so he gets to keep it for another year. So.... what are the dates for next year?
