I tried with no luck getting to a checkout area

Go to the forum menu and click on menu item "Profile", then "Actions" and "Paid Subscriptions". Choose the TMA Membership payment option of 1 year or 2 years, and click on the "Order" button.
You will be sent to PayPal to purchase your TMA Membership with either PayPal, or your credit card. :bl th up
Just holler if you need more assistance. :bl th up

I see it was a misunderstanding,I thought there was a choice of using PayPal and another checkout ,no problem I’ll just go thru paypal

Am I officially acknowledged as paying,how do I know?is there a membership packet still?

We are no longer doing the membership packet in order to keep our TMA Membership fee at $15.00 :bl th up

I am ok with that but I payed 1.50 more....lol how do I know you know I payed and I am an official member ? Do we receive a member number or an official TMA post saying “ you are now a paying member statement”?

Look at your profile and click on Paid Subscriptions towards the bottom on the left. It will show your current status.

While we're at it....
I know this has been covered before but how do I change the expiration date on my profile? I re-upped recently because it showed mine expired last January. Now when I followed Darren's suggestion it shows that I am paid up until 2025. It would be really nice if I can change that on the information shown on my posts where it shows under my avatar etc.

Profile >> Modify Profile >> Forum Profile
FWIW, we do not use or update "forum expiration dates" because we are on an automated subscription system, but you can add, modify, or delete that text if you like. All TMA Contributing Members have that title in all posts, and the special post stars.

Thank you for the response, Rob. Here is what I have:

As you can see, it shows my member number and the expiration date. However, I can't find where to modify that under
Profile >> Modify Profile >> Forum Profile, or any of the other sections for modifying my profile. I thought this was automatically inserted when we renew our membership, but apparently not.
Forgive me for being slow. Any help which you can give will be greatly appreciated!

Okay, mea culpa, my bad - that's a reserved Admin area. I removed that member date. I need to write some code that will go through all registrations and blank out that area, it's confusing everyone ... including me! ::) :o 8) ;D :luff:
