Howdy! Danny here. I've been dabbling in black powder muzzle loading for about 20 years now. Up to now I've only hunted and shot a Lyman Great Plains .54 that a kind friend gave me. As more and more of my hunting buddies got more and more expensive rifles I've kind of gone the opposite way and wanted to experience all that muzzle loading has to offer. A bucket list item for me is to build a muzzle loader or several. The kit is in and that's what led me to your forum. Sorry but I'll be asking a lot of questions soon.

Please, don't apologize for asking questions.
There is a wealth of knowledge here .
I will be starting my first kit soon also.
Remember to post pics. People seem to like that around here.
Oh and welcome to the TMA.

Welcome Danny! LOL, now that you've let the cat-out-of-the-bag about having a new kit to build, I think it's in the rules (well, at least it should be), ya have to keep us abreast of your progress! :hairy
