Title: TMA Video
Post by: Ohio Joe on May 06, 2022, 10:25:58 PM
I ran across our TMA Video that I haven't seen in years. It was put together by one of our members quite a few years ago. It was nice to run across it and watch it again.

Yessir, that was great!
Lots of people there that haven't been heard from in a while, sorry to say.
It makes me wonder how many of the kids that were pictured have continued on with muzzleloading?  Probably not too many.
Anyway, great video.
Thanks for resurrecting it.

Just think, some of those kids in the video are grown up with kids of their own. My son being one of them. Kind 'a makes you wonder where the time goes...  :shake

Joe, that was fantastic. That video merits a special permanent place on the forum for everyone who visits it to see. Come on guys, grab your rifles, head to the range, and shoot the TMA's postal matches. Not only are they fun but it will be great practice for hunting, too. Super video!

That video was put together by Longhunter (Ron Leclare) and his son somewhere around 2007 or 2008, lots of those folks from here in Washington, still a few of us around burning powder, great to see that again, i have a copy here somewhere that we used to play and show at our TMA table at the yearly ML Gun and Crafts fair here, miss a lot of those folks!

Yep, I noticed Longhunter's smiling face a couple of times in the video.
Haven't seen much of him here lately.  Wonder if he is doing OK?  Anyone know for sure?

John I did a search a couple months ago, his archery shops web site is still up and running, think someone else is managing it now, a few videos on you tube from 8 or 10 years ago with him at the remote hunt cabin, with his popularity in the longbow community he would make some news if he passed, no obituary's on line for Ron there is one for his wife who passed quite awhile ago, leads me to believe he's still on the green side!

I put the TMA video on my server back in 2017, just to preserve it.  It's also up on my YouTube channel.

I'm glad Joe brought it up, it'll be a nice introduction at the top of the forum - just coded it in, hope y'all think it's ok .... or have other suggestions?
