Title: A New E. Russo Flintlock
Post by: RobD on January 01, 2023, 07:57:22 PM
Ettore built a really nice schimmel (barn gun, poor boy gun, etc) smooth rifle in .54 bore that was on the ALR website, and I couldn't resist buying it.  Swamped Colerain 42" bbl, Chambers Dale Johnson lock, I'll get more pix up when it arrives.

Wow, that's some pretty figure in the wood!  It's almost too pretty to take outside and shoot....

I've got .515 and .520 ball Tanner brass ball molds coming, to try it as a smoothbore first, but I might ship the bbl off to Bobby Hoyt and get it rifled with gain twist.
