Kees, funny you should mention that. I asked the maker about the carving and he said that soon after he started the carving he was sorry he ever began. With the grain running every which way as it does, it was a nightmare. But, he persevered.

And, start out with the single shot from a cold barrel at the "shingle" at 100 yards. I really like the Hodgepodge Rifle better, but need to exercise this one also.
