Seeking input on this pistol,it along with another that is similar from a distance are in an antique shop. I didnt have a scale or caliper with but would guess it at .58/.62 cal.,smooth bore.

These pistols turn up at auction regular here in the UK most were made in the middle east and India for the tourist trade.

That would explain the sword on each side and forward of the tg on the bottom of the other one, see!

That is a tourist gun, probably made in Turkey. They turn them out in large quantities and age them in buckets of rocks. The architecture and the rather strange decoration on the butt cap, trigger guard, etc. are characteristics of those guns.

I have one with the same type of furniture. My Dad bought it in a junk shop in old down town Beirut in 1968. We got it home and realized the barrel was made out of an old piece of iron pipe. I was a kid and played with it until the main spring broke.
