Rondo, I've made a very similar recipe while out camping with my Scouts years ago and just pull off a good egg size chunk, stretch it out and wrap around a cleaned stick and hold over the fire turning until brown, when you pull it off the stick, any uncooked dough will usually be stuck to said stick and simply cook again, have also done this with cheap refrigerator biscuits, if you close off the end of the dough you can pull from the stick and them take an old school restaurant style ketchup bottle full of jelly or jam and insert in the open end and squeeze , great snack around an evening fire! ( pudding works too!)
