Thanks guys! I've been playing with these things since I was in high school. I'm a reenactor and actually own reenactor.Net.
I still reenact WWI (retiring from that next November) and I do 1st Century Roman and am toying with Trekking of some sort.
I don't know why I haven't joined this sooner. I really do believe in these things going so far as to have a huge argument with a famous BP hunter who favoured modern MLr's and thought that traditionals should be banned from hunting. Needless to say, we didn't agree. Anyway, I haven't been doing a lot of shooting lately, but am getting back into it.
I have a local BP store, Ft. Chambers in Chambersburg, PA and I was there yesterday... as we were talking, I had to tell one of the newer people that Muzzleloading folk just seem to be, for the most part, nicer. I also have a small booklet for new people on how to shoot flintlocks that you can download, if interested. PM me if you want to see it.
Best,
Marsh
