I'm curious Rob, have you found the TC's and the offshore brand ML's - not to have any lubrication at all on their plug?
I've pulled apart many dozens of plugs, liners, and bolsters, and at best there was always an extremely light film of some kinda light oil that was barely noticeable to eye or fingers =
useless. BP residue from ignition
always gets into the threads of anything screwed into the working chamber and any kinda oil just becomes a cement that makes cracking the nut near impossible in some instances and a bear ALL other times. Lubing with anti-seize grease just means that if (aka "when") the plug or touch hole liner or bolster needs removing for sundry reasons, it's gonna come off lickety split. Permatex anti-seize at the auto store is good stuff but Nikal is the best and all I use.
