First go at dying quills..
« on: March 08, 2025, 01:12:11 PM »
Dying some quills to try a few hatbands for evening projects with my better half. I followed Stockmans advice and did kool-aid with vinegar.. Cheaper than rit dye, and while not HC, it looks pretty! After a little heat in the juice these are turning out well. Now to see if we can figure out the actual quillwork part!

Those are really pretty. I bet you get some really nice colored eggs at Easter time. Probably too pretty to peel and eat.

Awesome, love it.
I've wanted to try Quill work myself.
Looking forward to what is to come.
