I figured they might be a wee bit cold to carry in the North WI winters thought  :)

You be correct  :lol:

Think on the belt, on the Sword Baldric, Shoulder rigs or a combo of the above. Remember, these were WEAPONS & carried for preservation of the individual  no matter how "pertty" ( until later when they became "attire" in the "Victorian Times" )
