Father-in-law's Horn
« on: August 07, 2020, 09:13:33 AM »
For many years my father in law had this big green horn that he had planned to turn into a powder horn. Well the horn came to me and I had some here do this work for me. Wish I could remember who did it.

Found the original post...

Any ideas on this monster thang......thought about just putting the fill hole and the dispensing hole both on the big end, and maybe cut a little off the point and make a powder measure.  Then I thought about maybe cutting a little bigger piece off the point and making a priming horn out of that and go ahead and drill out the big piece for a normal horn.

There is about 10 1/2" of hollow in the horn.
