Reminds me of when I was just a mere lad. My grandfather brought me along on his vacations to where he was born, a little mining town in northern California. He had inherited 40 acres a few miles up the river and it had an old barn on it. And that was where I started my life long love of shooting. I would carry his old Winchester Model 55 (which was a pretty big load for a 4 year old) and when we got there, my job was to shoot the knot holes out of the barn. It was a chore just to hold the rifle up and aim it at that point in my life, but I did it. Darn, those were shining times.
