Well our 46th Fur Trade Rendezvous is in the books. Not a big camp this year (18 setups I believe). I also think we're rebounding from this "Covid-19" scare, but we have to move on and get back to normal.
I only took one picture (the one I posted after setup), but I expect they'll be more picture show up on FB page (Chadron Fur Trade Days) once those who took pictures get back home and settled in.
I was going to go down to the "Candle Snuffing Shoot" Thursday night, but when the "traveling camp musicians" with banjo, guitar, wash tub base, and violin, came down and set up in our camp under our tent awning - I was quite content to stay right in camp with my wife and listen to some of the best music on earth! The Candle Shoot is one of my very favorite Matches to take part in, but I wouldn't have missed that music with my wife for anything. Great time for sure!!!
(And I got to shoot in some other camp matches on Saturday)
My wife was a food judge Friday night along with (Thumper and Chuck), and she really enjoyed that. (she likes watching the food channel competitions here at home) so I think she had a good time with it.
Anyway, all in all - a good camp, and good times had by all.
