Round or Square?
«
on:

I plan on making myself a new hunting pouch. Looking at historical examples I notice that some are square bottomed and some are rounded. What, if any, are the pros and cons of each style.
Thanks

I like a round bottomed bag when I'm carrying loose balls in my shooting bag, as they naturally gravitate to the center of the bag as they are being used up.
Other than that, I don't find much difference between the two types.

Personally, I prefer a square bottomed bag. They seem easier to organize for me.

I have both but just don't have a preference.

I like square with a couple pouches rather than one big bag.

I tend to lose things in corners so it's a round bottom for me.

I've made and used both and have found that just a slight "semi" round corner works better for me.
