Well, it has been a day!    Went to the P.O. this morning at 10:25 in beautiful, hot weather.  Got home and left the car windows down to let it air out.  Baked a couple of loaves of sourdough bread and went to bring one to my neighbor's father, who lives down the street and shares this birthday with Longcruise and me.  Stepped out and we had had a thunderstorm with vicious winds and bucketful's of rain.... the inside of the car was SOAKED!  By the time I made the delivery and got home I was soaked through.

Otherwise, it's just been another day in paradise! 

Thank you all for your well wishes.  I hope to get out and make some smoke again next week...

That was how it was yesterday!  It's hot & sunny today so, once again, I opened the windows and sunroof on the car.  It has dried out nicely (I can sit on the seat and not get a wet keel) and is now closed up again.  The maps, registration, insurance documents and log are still in the house to dry.  It could have been worse!

Thank you Hank! I wish I could get "on the road" but life doesn't give me that option at present.  Yesterday was also our 29th anniversary, and life with my Sweetie just keeps getting better!
