Rum Horn Carry? Pics
« on: February 09, 2010, 08:07:45 PM »
I bought a really nice Rum Horn from Stumblin Wolf and would like to know how these were originally carried? A strap, leather cord, or what???
Thank you, here's some pics of it.

Curt, traditionally you would carry it with a leather strap the width of the staple, or you could taper the strap to meet the staple width, you could also do a woven strap with leather ends , just like carrying a powder horn

I don't know how it was carried, but I just wanted to make a comment on the horn which is: Beautiful. He did a great job engraving it.
