2nd attempt (Bowie)

I tried to stay period correct as much as possible with this knife as I wanted to do a Rendesvous sometime.
The blade is Aldos 1095 flat ground, guard to tip is 12 3/8th, sent to Peters for HT @59RC. The guard was hand worked out of 1"x1" brass bar stock. The handle is California curly Redwood, the pins are 16 penny nails. I left the blade at 600 grit as this will be working bowie, and it is going to get scratches.

Being a lover of all things sharp and pointy, and especially BIG things that are sharp and pointy...
Well the drool is running out of my keyboard and across the desk.
