Just wanted to bump this back up to the top. Hank was looking for the pictures of us when he came out for a visit in May 2017. He also headed up to see ol' Uncle Russ on that same trip.

Anyway, the pictures had went a'stray as they were on "Photobucket" back then, but fortunately I still had them on Igmur...

So Hank my friend, here they are;

It's  good to see two great TMA members together in one picture!
Hank did make it up to see me, and he did get to see a couple of things here in the Pacific Northwest.
However, it seems that every time he makes the trip, me or Mama Bear, one or the other, is in the Hospital or just getting out of the Hospital.
The 1st time he was here, my Black Lab had a problem with his Motorcycle...every time she saw it the hair would stand up on her back and you could her growl real low.
After Hank left she ran around for a solid week sniffing and looking for Hank's Bike...lol
I can't hep but laugh inside every time I think about that. :lol sign

BTW; Sure do hope he can make the trip again sometime...now that he's slowed down and retired.
We were thinking about making a trip his way this Fall, until I had a run-in with a stupid ladder.
It's the many things we don't do that totally sets us apart.

Yes sir Russ, good memories for sure!

When I PM'd Hank that I found the pictures, I couldn't resist bringing up that tour of where Crazy Horse was killed at Ft. Robinson.  We were out there having breakfast that morning (grandson Lucas was with us - in fact, Lucas was with us for the whole visit if I recall correctly)...

Anyway, that was one heck of a guided account (by Randy Kane) of how the killing of Crazy Horse took place at Fort Robinson.  Randy even opened up the building where it took place and told us how it all unfolded, and there's no way I could ever do it justice by even trying to repeat it here,,, but I think like myself, Hank was just as memorized by the account... Randy didn't miss a beat! When he referred to the people there at that time - he used their names / rank / and if they had serial numbers back then, I think he'd a pulled them out! Just a fantastic tour by a man that knew what he was talking about.

Now I might mentioned that Hank (being the wood worker he is) did start to examine the officer's desk that was in the building... I always figured he would build a replica of that... Hank???

It's always nice to see a fellow TMA member, that's for for sure!  :shake :toast :hairy
