Is The TMA Trading Post Open?
« on: August 05, 2017, 10:30:30 PM »
Is the TMA Trading Post still open?  I.e. can we still order patches, etc. from Beaverman?  And whatever happened to getting more banners?  Inquiring minds need to know!

Beaverman is no longer with us, however the TMA items listed in the below link are for sale.

Ref the Banners.....one of the Board member's wife was making those by hand.
When the sale price became less than the cost to make them they were discontinued.
Riley knows the full story on this, with a little luck he will see this and chime in.

All of the items are listed here are available for shipping;

Thank you, Uncle Russ.  The cups and such are over on the store site then.

Actually the flags were made by a wife of a Board Member. There is a whole stack of banners (which I had made) in my closet at home, just waitin on folks ta order 'em!

Great! Thanks Riley for clearing up a lot of things, at least in my mind, now we all know about the Banners.

But just to help Clarify, probably as much if not more for me, than anyone else, There is a BIG difference in a Flag and a Banner, and Banners are apparently available..
There is no such thing as "The little Banner".

I suspect I have never owned a Banner, although at one time I did have three Flags that I got through the Green River Mountain Men....they were the little Triangle looking Flags...(maybe this is also one that a Member's Wife was making and became cost prohibitive, I'm no longer sure)........

Anyway, to help clarify.......

This is a FLAG.

This is a BANNER.

I know for a fact that in both Monroe and GRMN there was always a discussion on what is what, as many members were at times themselves confused,  visitors asking for one thing and describing it one way, while the response was quite different than what I though these items really were,
It was never a problem when we had a table, and folks just picked up the one they wanted and paid for it, however, even discussions here on the forum has, at times, varied from item to item in what it was properly called, and mostly, which one was available.
