Riley, good luck and have lots of fun this coming Saturday! If it's possible to get some video (pictures for sure) both would be great. I think this is a very good program the TMA is involved with and I hope it continues to build a lot of interest!  :hairy

Thanks! I did get some pictures from the Folle Avoine biathlon, as did Jim Swanson. They are available on our FB group page, but I will try to get some over here at some point. We had 18 "biathletes" at Folle Avoine. It was a great first year! I hope that one keeps going, too!

For those of you interested in Biathlons in the New England Area, there is one scheduled for 3/4/18 at the Cheshire County Fish & Game Club in Keene, NH.  Unfortunately, it appears there may not be enough snow on the ground to use snowshoes.  We have had some really warm temps the last few days, and a lot of rain.  It still should be a good time.

Have fun guys!  I am jealous, even if the snow is gone.  I have three pairs of snowshoes and two pairs of cross-country skis which haven't seen use since 2001 and I purely miss getting out with them.

BTW, If anyone is coming for the biathlon and hasn't seen the facebook post... be prepared for icy conditions and for the possibility of having to carry your snowshoes...

The course for the GSR/TMA biathlon is set. 1.6 miles, 14 total targets. Some easy, some challenging. Bucky the Deer will be back, patched up and ready.

The Southern VT Primitive Biathlon is this weekend, Sat & Sun, for those of you in the new England area.  This is a great shoot, and it looks like the weather is going to cooperate.
