for the very most part, with a trad muzzleloader in the vein of the 18th century, i've always viewed that kinda weapon as a slightly longer distance version of a trad stickbow.  ;D

and I'd add,.... but slower to "reload".  :)

I am new to TMA but older than dirt and no a complete Noob to smokepoles. This is a great thread as I am really beginning to focus on my .75 cal trade gun. I love the observations about various wads and patching materials.

This is the year I want to put meat in the freezer with ol' Bodacious. My Jaeger has fed me well, but now it's time for a different challenge.
