Who is the current AZ State Rep.? The last posting I see in the AZ thread is from several years ago. Does anyone know of any clubs or events?

Try https://nmlra.org/. They can give the most info of muzzleloading activity in AZ.

Crazy Crow also has a pretty good calendar.
I think Mountain Top Trading Post has a good calendar, but is probably centered mainly in the Pacific Northwest.  Worth a try.

There is a Black Powder "Division" at the Rio Salado Sportsman Club that shoots at the Usery Pass range. I don't know how active they are. They seem to only meet to shoot on Sunday and I don't. I do see BP events on the current calendar for the range.

Check this page https://www.rsscaz.com/divisions/blackpowder

When I was first starting my muzzlestuffer adventure about a year ago I contacted John Schaffer via this site and he met with me and gave me a good introduction to blackpowder shooting.

I'd bet this group would be a good place to get info.
The trouble with doing things right the first time is no one realizes how hard it was.
Often, however, the following is more applicable.
I stand corrected, a position somewhat painful to achieve, but once there, is quite satisfying.

Kjmillig:  Rio Salado is a large shooting range and it does have a black powder club there. They shoot a couple of days a month - depending upon the week it is usually silhouette or paper targets. They are a good bunch and would welcome you I am sure.

I belong to the Mazatzal Mountain Muzzleloaders. We shoot the 2nd Saturday of the month but we shoot in the Tonto National Forest October through April and just north of Morman Lake (South of Flagstaff) from May through September. Our targets are silhouette at various distances. We do not shoot at a formal range.

If interested please contact our President Pete Waichulaitis at muzzleloading_pw@msn.com.

As of this date "Sharp Stick" will be the NEW TMA Rep....
He was just recently appointed as he is indeed a pretty Sharp Stick with all his knowledge.
If you have questions PM him, between him and the Members of the Board of Directors, we can and will get you an answer.

Thank you.
Respectfully, Russ...

Are there going to be any events in early 2020? How are things shaping up for 2020?
