Queen Anne Style Weapons -  Breech Loading Weapons

Most often many think of these Black Powder firearms as pistols only, but this genre of weapons was also had long arms - Queen Anne Flintlock Carbine
by Henry Delaney, Circa 1720 is an example.

I am just starting to learn a little about Queen Anne firelocks so this is definitely new info for me. It would seem quite proper for a F&I/ Rev War impression to carry one of these Scottish beauties, especially as a civilian on the frontier.

Thanks for the post, my friend. I just saw it (3 months later), but no one has ever accused me of being fast ('cepting maybe a lady or two...), but this is good info and another learning moment fur me. The down side is that it has renewed my desire to get a Queen Anne Pistol...
