The following is a great article. Does anyone have more info, or possibly own a Queen Anne Pistol?

Well,,, if I had one and I liked it, and I was told I couldn't use it at a TMA meet (if there was going to be one) - I wouldn't bother going to the TMA meet... But I don't think one has to worry about that.  If you like it, take it to your favorite Rendezvous. Same goes for if you had a Ferguson Rifle. :shake

And... The Queen Ann Pistol is loaded at the muzzle of the breech - then the barrel screwed on, which in fact makes it a muzzle loader since it's loaded from the front of the breech.

So, the loading is very similar (in its own way) to how we load cap & ball revolvers in our TMA Cap & Ball Revolver's Forum Board.

I had one that was made by Steve Lodding.  Nice pistol.  Couldnt hit a moose from 10 feet with it.  Sold it.
