Pouch Question

Maybe you gentlemen can help me out with something. I got a really cool banded powder horn from Bigsmoke for Christmas. And I want to make a really cool bag to go along with it. Maybe even outfit it with all the correct accouterments as well. So what style of pouch would look best with this little horn?

Hey Bull, glad you like the little horn. It appears you have polished it up a tad. Looks better now, than when I owned it.
Anyway, in answer to your question, I can't help but think it would go well with a nice little double pouch. That's what I would do, anyhow.

Tough question …………
YMMV, but a rustic pouch like this one is my suggestion:

real nice horn, and bags too.
i prefer a simple horn and roomy bag. haven't gotten 'round to scrimming the horn i made a few years back, but got the bag set up the way i like it.

Thanks everyone. I do believe I am going to go with a smaller double pouch. But I'm not thoroughly decided yet.

almost everything about trad muzzy accoutrements will be personally subject ... which means yer on yer own and need to really think about what you think will work best, and then trial it all out. yeah, takes time and money.
welcome to the wonderful world of the 18th and 19th century firearms.
