Has anyone gotten their stimulus money? We got ours this week. Jackie got a new Viking sewing machine and I got a new riding mower!

Yes, just the other day... My big purchase (unless I make my own) - a 5/16x24 flash-hole liner... (I know, don't use it up all at once... ;D )

I won't know if I got mine until the bank mails me my statement. I would have used it to help pay for a trip to Utah in May but it looks like that plan won't happen.

Haven't even got my tax refund yet, much less a check to stimulate the economy!

yep, got my stimulus bucks right on april 15th.  first time ever the feds paid me on that day instead of vice-versa.

hmmmm.  "stimulus money" ...  to stimulate WHAT?

just more greenbacks we're printing that are backed by air instead of precious metal, money we're paying to ourselves that we'll owe back to ourselves at least double fold due to its effect on inflation, and at least 6.2 trillion dollars more added to the already monumental USA deficit that at this rate our great grandchildren will still be paying off.

right now, i'm more concerned about having enuf food to last for yet another month of incarceration, with the threat another month beyond that.  and when and IF it's all said and done, i'm really concerned about having my USA back in reasonable shape without having to deal with any kind of "new normal".

a lot of very very bad things happening with this lock down nonsense, starting not with the economic disaster, but how we're learning to shun our families and neighbors and friends.  might come a day when we'll fondly remember how in the olden days we'd greet with a handshake instead of just words uttered at a each other a few yards apart.

oh, yeah.  great stimulus alright.
