The antique powder horn I bought recently finally got here today.
The horn has more cracks than I was expecting (
four cracks instead of the one I was told about), plus a hole in the horn (near the base plug) which is probably from bugs eatin' on it.
This powder horn is beginin' to look like it'll need some beeswax/pine tar, and a full-length rawhide repair in order to be put back into service again.
