BUCKSKIN QUIVER
« on: July 24, 2020, 12:33:01 PM »
Here is a Elk Buckskin quiver made for one of the guys in our club, it's more of a nice yellow color than orange, opening is reinforced with 7/8 oz bark tan as the bottom 3" round then bottom was lined with a layer of carpet felt. The original had the strap sewn directly to the quiver, I added tabs so the strap could be adjusted for wearing in the same place over bulky clothing like a frock or capote. I used a museum pic of a Pawnee quiver to try to copy.

That's a cool quiver!  :hairy

There's supposed to be an old Pawnee village (turned into a museum), located east of me about 60-70 miles, I plan to check it out one of these days.  :bl th up

That's a nice quiver!  I need to get off the fat part of my body and make something like that!
