Last one I made is a Irish drinking horn,not sure if I’m done with it yet [ Invalid Attachment ]  [ Invalid Attachment ]  [ Invalid Attachment ] the ancient tribes had a Raven or crow as a Deity known as Morigu or Morigan ,who fortold of victory doom,or fate ,in this form She appeared as a crow . Surely predates black powder but not mead.cheers!

Them and a few more ,the first one has been my companion on many hunts since the 70’s and always keeps my powder dry.

I am considering more work but I can use it while I think on it,,a metal rim,I have not attempted that yet but I have only copper and copper be bad for food and drink
